Jury sends former Marine to jail after conviction on DUI charge

Despite claiming to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder in a California court, a former U.S. Marine will be incarcerated for 11 years after being found guilty of driving while intoxicated in Feb. 2012. Jurors in the Dec. 2014 trial also found him guilty of causing grave bodily injuries to his three passengers. As part of the defense against his DUI charge, his legal team asked for treatment for his condition rather than incarceration, but the request was denied.
