A recent California accident has resulted in the death of a 66-year-old man. The Alameda County District Attorney's Office is investigating the accident, which involved a motorcycle and a pedestrian, to determine whether charges will be filed. If so, the driver of the motorcycle may face gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI charges.

California woman may face DUI charges after pedestrian injured

Anyone can be accused of committing a crime. One recent unusual example is that of an elderly California woman who has been arrested and is facing serious DUI charges in connection to an accident involving her vehicle and a pedestrian. Reports indicate that a 24-year-old man was struck by a vehicle driven by an 83-year-old woman as he crossed the road. The man sustained serious injuries in the accident and is said to have suffered severe injuries.

Two dead in California car accident, driver faces DUI charges

A 68-year-old San Jose man was arrested recently in connection with a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the early morning hours on Highway 152. Authorities say the man was travelling westbound in the eastbound lane when his SUV collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by a 23-year-old man. The SUV driver now faces DUI charges as a result of the police investigation.

Driving under the influence charge for California fire captain?

A California Fire Department captain could be facing a drunk driving charge after a recent accident that also left him injured. The single vehicle accident left the captain with a potentially broken back as well as other broken bones after his truck crashed into a tree. It is unclear why the truck left the rural roadway, though now the captain may face charges for driving under the influence on top of the burden of his serious injuries.
